The purpose of this test is to support learners to choose their first book. Based on the book review sheets and answers to a questionnaire by students who took the test and read graded readers as part of a remote course, this study analyzed the following two points: the correspondence of the test result to the level at which learners read, and the relationship between the difficulty of the first book they read and the level they chose next. 70% of the learners said that the test was helpful.
