 note = {研究ノート, Research Notes, 本論文では、日本人の英語学習者が書いたwant を伴う文に焦点を当てて分析をする。実験のデータを見ると、実験参加者の中には英語の文法としては非文法的な「want to 名詞」(I want to a dog)というパターンを使用していることが分かった。そして、日本人の英語学習者は習得過程で、「want to」は一つの単位を構成しているが、その後ろには動詞が要求されるといった範疇が指定されていない段階を通過することが示唆される。本論文では、Tomasello (2003)によって提唱された用法基盤モデルを第二言語習得に適用することを試みる。そして、なぜ「want to 名詞」が可能なのかを解明していく。, This paper investigates English sentences with want written by Japanese learners of English. The data show that some of the learners produced an ungrammatical pattern, want to-noun (I want to a dog). This suggests that learners go through a stage in which want to has a unitary status but the category after want to has not been fixed yet. I would like to apply usage-based models proposed by Tomsasello (2003) to second language acquisition and to demonstrate why such an ungrammatical pattern is possible during the second language development.},
