These colonies were established by the people, particularly Puritan who tried to reform the semi-absolute monarchy into republic, but failed after their short reign at the middle of 17 century in England. Small radical religious group of the Puritan who immigrated into colonies of western part of north America had aimed to accomplish the unfinished reform of English political system. Its result was the political institution peculiar to the English Colonies. The Constitution of the United States of America is actually the development of this political institution. Japanese Constitution belongs to the same category of the American Constitution. In my view, it is relevant for us to understand the formative process of the political institution peculiar to the English Colonies, in order to grasp the distinct character of the Japanese Constitution. Therefore, in this article, I try to follow the growth of American political institution in English Colonies as the first step to understand the character of the American Constitution.}, pages = {31--52}, title = {アメリカ合衆国政治制度の原型 : 英領植民地の特異な政治制度の成立に関する一考察}, volume = {35}, year = {2020}, yomi = {ヤス, アキヒロ} }
