As a result, children-oriented Japanese history study comic series appeared late in the 1960s, and they spread through the 1980s in Japan. Although they were explanation and description types in the mainstream till the 1980s, it turned out that they which were focused on the story increased from around the 1990s.\nAnd the series which appointed the popular comic characters in the work appeared from the middle of the 1990s. Then, archaeologist created the draft proposal around or the series which archaeologist supervises increased from the end of the 1980s, and the archaeological sites of new discovery and the results of archaeological research came to be taken in the study comics.
