In his Essay, Robbins divied the assumptions of his Economics into the chief assumptions and the rest assumptions. The chief assumptions means the ‘Scarcity definition’, but it does not include the assumptions of the perfect foresight or the consistency of choice. These unrealistic assumptions are used as ‘expository device’, and positioned as part of the rest assumptions. In previous research, Robbins has three characteristics, Classical Economics, Wicksteed, and Austrian School, and this paper focuses on the influences from P. H. Wicksteed and L. v.
