In the Journal of Music Therapy, the first article related to grief-care was published in 1977: “Music Therapy on Death and Dying”by Gilbert. The purpose of this study is to find out 　 the concepts of grief-care in music therapy and the clinical methods of music therapy for grief-care before 1977.Only 5 articles obtained and there were some differences but progressive changes are observed.
