 note = {本稿では、東南アジア諸国連合(ASEAN)の中でも、比較的早い段階から外国直接投資(FDI)を積極的に誘致し、工業化を通じて、経済成長を進展させてきたタイに焦点を当てて、1 FDI 誘致の経緯とその影響、2最近のFDI 動向と投資環境、3日系企業の活動状況の実態、の3点を中心に議論を展開する。なお、上記3においては、2013年2月に大阪商工会議所及び日本貿易振興機構(ジェトロ)が主催した「カンボジア・タイ投資環境視察ミッション」に筆者が参加し、直接訪問した日系製造業2 社を具体的事例として取り上げる。また、これらの議論を踏まえて、日系企業によるタイ進出のあり方に関し、政策的示唆をも提示する。, This paper focuses on Thailand, which started attracting foreign direct investment(FDI) actively at its earlier stage among ASEAN countries and has attained economicgrowth via industrialization, and surveys three following topics: 1) the history of attractingFDI and its impact, 2) the recent trend of FDI and investment climate, 3) the realityof Japanese enterprises' activities. Particularly in 3) above, it includes two case studies of Japanese manufacturers the author visited directly in February 2013 at the occasion of the "Business Mission of Inspecting Investment Climate in Cambodia and Thailand", coordinated by Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
