学習漫画と考古学 Study Comics and Archaeology 櫻井, 準也 サクライ, ジュンヤ SAKURAI, Jyunya 学習漫画 日本史 先史時代 監修者 旧石器捏造事件 漫画キャラクター Study Comics Japanese History Prehistory Editorial Supervisor Japanese Paleolithic hoax Comic Character 論文 Article 本稿では、考古学の立場からわが国の日本史学習漫画の歴史とその特徴について検討した。その結果、子ども向けの日本史学習漫画シリーズは1960年代後半に登場し1980年代になってわが国に普及したこと、それらは1980年代頃までは説明・解説型が中心であったが1990年代頃からストーリー重視の作品が増え、1990年代中頃からは人気の漫画キャラクターを起用したシリーズが現れたことがわかった。その後、1980年代末頃から考古学者が原案を作成したり考古学者が監修するシリーズが増加し、新発見の遺跡や考古学の研究成果が学習漫画に取り入れられるようになった。しかし、その結果「旧石器捏造事件」の遺跡や遺物が紹介されるという弊害を生むことになった。 In this paper, I examined the history and the feature of Japanese history study comics from the view point of archaeology. As a result, children-oriented Japanese history study comic series appeared late in the 1960s, and they spread through the 1980s in Japan. Although they were explanation and description types in the mainstream till the 1980s, it turned out that they which were focused on the story increased from around the 1990s. And the series which appointed the popular comic characters in the work appeared from the middle of the 1990s. Then, archaeologist created the draft proposal around or the series which archaeologist supervises increased from the end of the 1980s, and the archaeological sites of new discovery and the results of archaeological research came to be taken in the study comics.
